The first edition of the Lusophone Film Fest Khartoum will screen online on 5 May 2021, the World Portuguese Language Day. The event will feature two animations from Cape Verde and Timor-Leste; documentaries from São Tomé and Príncipe, Angola, Brazil and Portugal depicting the strengths and challenges of cultural mixes; and shorts from Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Macau (China), this one a musical sang in Macanese Patuá, a Portuguese-based language.
